How to Engage A Barrister

Most briefs come through a solicitor, who instructs the barrister on behalf of the client. The process typically involves:

  1. Your solicitor contacting Chambers or the barrister to confirm expertise and availability
  2. Supplying a brief and supporting material
  3. The barrister providing advice, drafting submissions or appearing in court or mediation

Our Practice Manager is also available to assist solicitors with diary checks and enquiries, ensuring a smooth process from start to finish.
