Michael was called to the Bar in 2025 where he maintains a broad commercial and civil practice across both State and Federal Courts. 

His commercial work includes acting for and against individuals, company directors, and corporations. He also accepts briefs in regulatory and administrative law matters and has acted both for and against State and Commonwealth agencies.

Michael holds a Bachelor of Laws (Hons) from Queensland University of Technology and a Master of Laws (LLM) with a specialisation in commercial litigation.

Prior to being called to the Bar, Michael was a Senior Lawyer in Legal Aid Queensland’s civil law team, where he conducted appeals in the Administrative Review Tribunal and Federal Court of Australia. Before that, he practised as a solicitor at a national law firm, focusing primarily on commercial litigation and regulatory disputes.
